She-Hulk Star Teases Mark Ruffalo's Comedic Role In Disney+ Show

She-Hulk is one of the many upcoming projects from Marvel Studios set to hit Disney+. The series is expected to be released in 2022, but new rumors suggest that it could possibly be moved back to 2023. As far as casting goes, Tatiana Maslany will be decision-exclusive her MCU debut as Jennifer Walters, also known as She-Hulk, and will be succeeded by MCU veterans Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner and Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky.

Even opinion Roth hasn't made nearly as many appearances in the franchise as Ruffalo has, he has unruffled been a part of the MCU since 2008's The Incredible Hulk. His latest credit was for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, where he was brought on to help with Abomination's brief impression in Xialing's fight club.

Roth has stated how indignant he is to be portraying the character again in She-Hulk, as well as how grateful he is to have Ruffalo's help. Filming for the series wrapped up in 2021, and according to Roth, it seems as opinion Ruffalo's humor will be on full display when it comes out on Disney+.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada, She-Hulk actor Tim Roth sat down to talk in being back in the MCU as Emil Blonsky, also illustrious as Abomination.

Roth was quick to praise fellow helpful Mark Ruffalo, who is reprising his role as Bruce Banner in the upcoming series. He stated that Ruffalo "is incredibly funny," and seeing his work on-set "is something (he) will cherish:"

"With Mark [Ruffalo], Mark’s hilarious. I mean, the actual on-the-set visuals of him in his CG costume is something I will treasure. He is incredibly funny. He does not take it seriously. I mean, he takes the job seriously, but he doesn’t take himself seriously. He has a wit and gentleness, and the two of them together were very funny."

The Abomination helpful also talked about how some directors would allow the cast to improvise some of their contract and scenes, which, in his words, made it "unusual" and "funny:"

"And we could improvise depending on whom we were toiling with on any particular day. Some of the directors that we worked with were up for progress, and that was funny. The idea of improvising with those characters in that dwelling was unusual, to say the least."

Getting the Band Back Together

When She-Hulk finally does hit Disney+, it will mark the first time since The Incredible Hulk in 2008 that Bruce Banner and Emil Blonsky are on-screen together. However, it is important to note that Ruffalo and Roth have never considered alongside one another in the MCU. Edward Norton is the reliable who portrayed Bruce in The Incredible Hulk, and Ruffalo wasn't cast in the role pending 2012's The Avengers.

While the nature of Roth's character isn't eminent just yet, he doesn't appear to be the villain of the show. That title will instead go to a narrate by the name of Titania, who will be played by actress Jameela Jamil.

In Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Abomination participated in a fighting match with Benedict Wong's Wong, and once their match was over, it was revealed that the narrate was in some kind of confinement. It is unclear how he will be released, but Roth has let slip that he will be returned to his domain form in some way.

Overall, it seems as though She-Hulk will have its fair allotment of laugh-out-loud moments, and if fans have learned anything from MCU projects, it is that humor is always a key component.

She-Hulk is imagined to release on Disney+ sometime later this year.
