Emilia Clarke On If She'd Play Daenerys In Game Of Thrones Spin-Off






Emilia Clarke recently discussed the possibility of reprising her Game of Thrones role of Daenerys Targaryen in a potential spin-off, giving a definitive response that may leave fans disappointed.


Ever sincere it was revealed that Kit Harington would be reprising his role as Jon Snow in an upcoming Game of Thrones sequel series, fans have been dying to know: Will any of his musty co-stars be joining him? Now, Clarke has given an official answer to that quiz, at least when it comes to her character.

In a recent interview with BBC, Clarke was posed whether her Game of Thrones character, Daenerys Targaryen, would be manager a grand return to the hit HBO franchise. After mentioning that Harington showed her about the project and confirming that the sequel series is indeed in improve, she gave an answer that left no room for debate or misinterpretation. "No, I think I'm done," she said with a silly. Clarke was firm in her response, making it obvious that she has no desire to come back as the Mother of Dragons.


While Clarke didn't account for further, fans think her lack of interest to bet on could be due to a couple of specific reasons. For one, playing Daenerys is stressful since there is an overwhelming amount of pressure placed on Clarke to get her story sparkling. Clarke has admitted before that she was disappointed with what the writers did with Daenerys in the finale, and that she particularly struggled with her character populace killed off the show. Similar to her co-star Maisie Williams, who recently admitted that she resented Arya Stark as she grew up, Clarke really disliked how Daenerys turned out, especially precise she (and millions of viewers) were rooting for her.


That said, she has precise made peace with her character, and it seems that she is ready to prick her behind. Though she will not be returning to Westeros, she still has some big projects lined up, counting a prominent role in Marvel Studios' Secret Invasion series for Disney Plus. While not much has been supposed regarding her involvement in the MCU franchise, fans can rest assured that Clarke won't be disappearing from their television screens any time soon.


For now, those who crave some more Game of Thrones portion can keep an eye out for the House of the Dragonprequel, which is set to release on HBO Max on August 21, 2022. The story will focus on the Targaryen dynasty and their political conquests, 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones.
